Having gifts that differ according to the grace given to us, let us use them: if (1) PROPHECY, in proportion to our faith; if (2) SERVICE, in our serving; the one who (3) TEACHES, in his teaching; the one who (4) EXHORTS, in his exhortation; the one who (5) CONTRIBUTES, in generosity; the one who (6) LEADS, with zeal; the one who does acts of (7) MERCY, with cheerfulness

And he gave the APOSTLES, the PROPHETS, the EVANGELISTS, the SHEPHERDS and TEACHERS, to EQUIP the SAINTS for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ, until we all attain to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to mature manhood, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ, so that we may no longer be children, tossed to and fro by the waves and carried about by every wind of doctrine, by human cunning, by craftiness in deceitful schemes. Why its important to being able to identify giftings or Identify Jesus in someone.

1 Corinthians 12:4-11 ESV /

Now there are varieties of GIFTS (spirit), but the same Spirit; and there are varieties of SERVICE (Jesus), but the same Lord; and there are varieties of ACTIVITYS (FATHER), but it is the same God who empowers them all in everyone. To each is given the manifestation of the SPIRIT for the common good. For to one is given through the Spirit the UTTERANCE of WISDOM, and to another the UTTERANCE of KNOWLEDGE according to the same Spirit,

Ephesians 2:20-22

having been built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ Himself being the chief corner stone, in whom the whole building, being fitted together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord, in whom you also are being built together for a dwelling place of God in the Spirit.

Warnings – Judgmental, critical, hard on self, know when to give

PRIORITYS

1st call – Come up here

2nd – Intercession – can’t speak to man on behalf of God until you speak to God on behalf of man

3rd – Revelate – Word of knowledge – Word of wisdom – Discerning of spirits

1 Peter 4:10-11 ESV /

As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God’s varied grace: whoever SPEAKS, as one who speaks oracles of God; whoever SERVES, as one who serves by the strength that God supplies—in order that in everything God may be glorified through Jesus Christ. To him belong glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.

1 Corinthians 4:9-13

For I think that God has exhibited us apostles as last of all, like men sentenced to death, because we have become a spectacle to the world, to angels, and to men. We are fools for Christ’s sake, but you are wise in Christ. We are weak, but you are strong. You are held in honor, but we in disrepute. To the present hour we hunger and thirst, we are poorly dressed and buffeted and homeless, and we labor, working with our own hands. When reviled, we bless; when persecuted, we endure; when slandered, we entreat. We have become, and are still, like the scum of the world, the refuse of all things.
